Norman J Radow established the RADCO Companies in 1994, founded on his lifelong passion to improve the lives of people and neighborhoods. Norman and his family established The Radow Family Foundation which supports numerous charities in Atlanta and Israel. Norman and Lindy Radow are very active in the Atlanta Jewish community. One of his passions is working to solve the homelessness crisis. His family foundation supports three homeless charities including the KSU Cares program that provides housing and resources to students who have experienced homelessness, food insecurity, and/or the foster care system.

Norman J Radow established the RADCO Companies in 1994, founded on his lifelong passion to improve the lives of people and neighborhoods. RADCO has acquired and invested in approximately 31,000 units in seventeen markets, acquired twelve hospitality assets, and completed more than 100 deals totaling more than $3.3 billion.

Norman and his family established The Radow Family Foundation which supports numerous charities in Atlanta and Israel. Norman and Lindy Radow are very active in the Atlanta Jewish community. One of his passions is working to solve the homelessness crisis. His family foundation supports three homeless charities including the KSU Cares program that provides housing and resources to students who have experienced homelessness, food insecurity, and/or the foster care system. 

Before founding The RADCO Companies, Norman was a seasoned real estate litigation, workout, and transactional lawyer. Awarded a Juris Doctor by New York Law School in 1981 and a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1978, he is licensed to practice in both New York and Georgia. Norman was awarded a PhD by Kennesaw State University in 2023.

As Chairman of the Kennesaw State University Foundation Board of Trustees, Norman oversaw the expansion of the 47,000+ student university in metropolitan Atlanta. During his 13-year tenure, the campus doubled in size with the addition of $500 million in new buildings that he helped finance and develop. Norman is the Benefactor of the Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Kennesaw State University

Norman is currently a member of the New York Law School Board of Trustees and previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Emory University School of Law. He is a dynamic speaker and real estate industry expert and has been featured on CNBC, Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and more.

Norman is a devoted husband to his wife Lindy, father to Lisa Hurd and Neil Radow, and a delighted grandfather.

1994

RADCO’s first project was the redevelopment of a distressed 53-story Atlanta hotel, office, and condominium tower, which later became the Four Seasons Hotel.

2000

Norman expanded RADCO’s business model when Lehman Brothers retained RADCO to work out its mezzanine position in a failing multifamily deal.

2006

Norman adjusted and exited the principal business to expand RADCO’s workout platform, representing hedge funds, equity and mezzanine funds, special servicers, and banks in connected with distressed underperforming projects across all CRE asset types.

2011

Norman recognized that there was a dramatic demographic shift occurring that would profoundly affect how people lived and what they could afford. RADCO re-entered the principal business and began buying, renovating and repositioning value-add multifamily properties.

2015

Radco Residential launched its in-house property management services in 2015 to deliver high-performance property management services for The Radco Companies rapidly evolving portfolio. Radco Residential creates operational success through its distinct cultural and data-driven business practices. 2024

In 2020, Kennesaw State University (KSU) honored Norman with the eponymous Norman J Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences. RADCO’s Hospitality Division launched in 2021 in response to the pandemic’s operational and capital markets disruptions. RADCO has since acquired twelve hotels. In 2023, KSU awarded Norman an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters. He is the benefactor of the Radow Institute of Social Equity. In 2024, RADCO made important structural changes to prepare for anticipated changes in the market. While standing on the precipice of those favorable events, RADCO is poised, positioned, and ready to take advantage of the coming opportunities.
